What started with a passion for landscaping, building, and transforming properties has grown into a company focused on creating outdoor spaces homeowners can genuinely enjoy and be proud of. For us, there’s something incredibly rewarding about taking an ordinary, outdated, or difficult-to-use yard and turning it into a space that completely changes how someone experiences their home.

The name Northern Rays represents where we come from and what we want our work to create. “Northern” reflects our Minnesota roots—the landscapes, lakes, seasons, and outdoor lifestyle that make this area home. “Rays” represents warmth, light, and those moments outdoors that make all the work worthwhile: summer evenings around a fire, mornings on the patio, gatherings with family and friends, and simply having a backyard you look forward to spending time in.
